Queen’s Lane Consultants is seeking a skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to provide specialised tax accounting for a diverse client base and inform the development of proprietary tax software. Responsibilities include providing tax advice focused on R&D tax credits, preparing and filing corporation tax returns, tax planning, maintaining knowledge of tax legislation and HMRC guidelines, helping guide financial tool development, working with the software team to ensure tax processing accuracy, and advising on company tax and finance matters when required. The role requires ATT or CTA qualification, experience in management accounting and tax accounting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independent and collaborative working in a hybrid environment, accounting software proficiency and advanced Excel skills. Previous R&D tax credit experience and strong communication skills are preferred.
