Freelance role developing concepts for science-related exhibits, designing and constructing mechanical components and exhibit assemblies, creating mock-ups and prototypes, developing test routines, and documenting exhibit constructions. Applicants should have a completed degree in product or industrial design, mechanical engineering or a comparable field, at least 4 years of experience in product development and production, very good SolidWorks skills, knowledge of construction, manufacturing and validation methods, initiative, systems thinking, enthusiasm for technology and science, and very good German and good English. Full-time collaboration is welcomed.
