Freelance role involving the construction and implementation of mechanical components and exhibit assemblies, development of testing routines for exhibit components, and documentation of exhibit constructions. Applicants should have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification, at least 4 years of experience developing basic concepts for geared machines and related parts using manufacturing technologies, strong SolidWorks experience, knowledge of construction, manufacturing and validation methods, initiative, systems thinking, enthusiasm for technology and science, very good German and good English. Full-time work is required.
