Teach students one-to-one in a range of styles, up to Grade 8 standard and beyond, as well as GCSE and A-Level performances. Previous singing tuition experience is required, and piano skills are highly desirable. Responsibilities include planning individual lessons, selecting and preparing repertoire, setting challenging teaching and learning objectives, monitoring and assessing pupil progress, maintaining accurate attendance records, managing teaching time effectively, and organising a timetable within the school's rota system. The role is within a friendly and supportive Music Department serving around 200 pupils aged 11 to 18. Initially 5 to 6 teaching hours are available per week, with potential to expand depending on student demand. The successful candidate should provide a reliable and consistent service across 30 lessons per year, split into three blocks of 10 lessons.
