Lead and develop the Computing and Business Studies department across a split-site school, sustaining and improving the quality of education for students and teaching staff. Responsibilities include leading curriculum development, monitoring teaching and learning, managing and developing staff, overseeing reports and parent communication, maintaining discipline, managing the department budget and resources, supporting SEN, gifted and talented, pupil premium and EAL provision, and acting as a form tutor. Applicants should be creative, highly organised, articulate and persuasive, with excellent leadership, behaviour management and interpersonal skills, strong subject knowledge, qualified teacher status, a degree or equivalent, recent relevant leadership and management development, and a proven record of improvement. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.
