FASPS is accepting applications for on-call substitute teachers at all grade levels. Substitute teachers implement the school's mission and philosophy, communicate with team members and administration about student concerns, follow emergency procedures, work with an international and culturally diverse student population, plan for diverse abilities and learning styles, encourage students' ethical growth, inspire enthusiasm for learning, and provide a stimulating and safe environment. Applicants should have prior experience working with preschool, elementary, or middle school students, a desire to join an internationally diverse community, and a willingness to adapt to FASPS's program. English is required, French language skills are a plus. Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and pass a background check. A Washington State teaching certificate is not required. This is an on-call position contingent on the school's needs, not a contracted full-time position.
