The French American School of Puget Sound is recruiting a basketball coach for the 2025 to 2026 Griffins girls basketball season. Responsibilities include supervising and instructing student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities, maintaining basketball equipment and uniforms, attending required meetings, supporting multi-sport participation, developing engaging practice plans, serving as a positive role model, following FASPS Athletics Coaching Manual and FASPS and CMSL policies, collaborating with the Athletic Coordinator and assistant coaches, and coordinating parent volunteers. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, available for all practices and competitions during the season, and able to commit 5 to 10 hours per week. Basketball coaching experience at the elementary, middle school, or youth level is strongly preferred, and French fluency is desired. Candidates must complete a satisfactory criminal background check and have or obtain current First Aid and CPR certification before the season starts. The season runs from January 26 through March 23, 2026.
