Join the Regulatory Compliance team, reporting to the Senior Specialist - Regulatory Compliance. The role supports the Bank in adhering to relevant laws, rules and regulations, provides regulatory guidance, implements compliance policies and procedures, monitors compliance risks, escalates breaches and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local regulators. Duties include ensuring products and services comply with regulations and supporting policies and procedures relating to regulatory requirements. Applicants should have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, an understanding of Banking and Investment Services rules and regulations, knowledge of MFSA rules of conduct and tax-related laws including FATCA, CRS and QI. A degree in Finance, Banking, Compliance or a related discipline is not mandatory. Good communication and presentation skills, adaptability, self-motivation, teamwork and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
