Footbridge Centre for Integrated Orthopaedic Care is seeking a non-operative foot and ankle Triage Physician to work in an integrated, multidisciplinary orthopaedic environment. The role includes assessment, consultation, treatment and follow-up of non-operative foot and ankle patients, participation in centralized intake for acute and chronic conditions, collaboration with practitioners and specialists, education of medical students, residents and fellows, and continuing professional development. The position is intended as a long-term opportunity, with three days per week in clinic and surgical assisting in the operating room with Footbridge surgeons. Applicants must have an Orthopaedic or Family Medicine Residency, experience participating on collaborative teams, comfort with non-surgical management of foot and ankle conditions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia with adequate malpractice insurance.
