Support Indigenous clients navigating the BC justice system by providing guidance on court procedures, arranging or attending court and legal appointments, assisting with affidavits and legal forms, providing referrals to complementary and alternative services, maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, developing partnerships with supporting agencies and programs, and ensuring cultural support. Applicants require at least two years of criminology or directly related work and lived experience, knowledge of Indigenous culture and traditions, some knowledge of justice systems and criminal procedures, effective oral and written communication skills, a Class 5 driver's licence, and the ability to travel. Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and database management experience is an asset. The successful candidate will undergo a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
