LaGuardia Design Group is seeking highly motivated and talented designers to join its Water Mill team. The firm works on high-end residential, resort, and institutional projects across the United States and the Caribbean in a collaborative team setting. Responsibilities include design drafting, 3D modeling, preparing design presentation packages, administering project budgets, preparing bid and construction document drawing sets, and interacting with clients and allied professionals. Required credentials include a bachelor's and/or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program and 4 to 7 years of experience with a landscape architecture firm. Licensure is preferred. Required skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and Lumion; strong digital and hand graphic ability; excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills; understanding of horticultural principles; understanding of construction practices; ability to document conceptual designs into technical drawings; attention to detail; time management and prioritization skills; and deep knowledge of construction drawing standards. Experience with Rhino and/or 3DS Max, high-end residential, resort, or institutional sectors, Revit, local plant communities, and local codes and standards is desired or a plus.
