Fogler, Rubinoff LLP is seeking a mid-level Associate with 3 to 5 years post-call experience to join its employment and labour team. The role includes independently carrying files, working with experienced practitioners on larger matters, drafting employment contracts, workplace policies, pleadings, litigation briefs, memoranda and correspondence, providing day-to-day employment advice, handling small claims and simplified procedure litigation, supporting wrongful dismissal actions, grievance arbitrations and human rights applications, managing plaintiff and employee-side employment files, drafting HR policies and providing HR training. Experience with WSIB matters, wrongful competition matters, Labour Relations Board applications and corporate transaction advice is an asset.
