Carry out laboratory activities accurately and efficiently, including specimen handling and prioritization, specimen data entry, manual and automated testing under technologist supervision, quality assurance procedures, incident and non-conformance identification, instrument maintenance, reagent and control preparation, supply monitoring, and safe handling of biohazardous materials and chemicals. Requirements include a high school diploma, WHMIS training, Registered Laboratory Assistant status as optional, previous Hematology laboratory experience preferred, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while following safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
