An experienced Medical Imaging Technologist responsible for performing and assisting with radiographic procedures efficiently and accurately, producing high quality diagnostic images in accordance with the ALARA principle and Cabrini's mission and values. The role provides compassionate, competent patient care before, during and after examinations, supervises and trains students and qualified radiographers, supports modality operations, participates in quality assurance and continuing professional development, and may be rostered across imaging modality areas and on call at the Malvern and Brighton campuses. Applicants require a degree in Medical Radiations Sciences or equivalent recognised by ASMIRT, a Certificate of Competence or equivalent, current AHPRA registration, eligibility for ASMIRT accreditation, a current Radiation Use Licence, and extensive experience in one or more specialist modalities. The position description identifies a minimum of 7 years post graduate qualification experience, with teaching or research experience highly desirable.
