BreastScreen Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for two vacant Board positions. Board members provide effective governance, set strategic direction, oversee strategic objectives, lead organisational culture and serve on at least one Standing Committee. Applicants should have skills, experience and knowledge in governance, strategic decision making, compliance, accounting and finance, legal responsibilities, risk management, people management and change, and not for profit population screening. Preferred candidates will bring high level expertise in information technology, digital transformation or digital disruption, or clinical expertise in breast cancer screening or treatment with demonstrated interest and experience in improving the client or patient experience. Formal Board governance qualifications and experience on a public or not for profit Board are highly regarded. Board members serve three year terms, with the potential for a maximum of two further terms, and are remunerated in accordance with Department of Premier and Cabinet guidelines. Applicants must pass the required background checks before appointment. The role requires participation in at least 80% of Board and allocated Committee meetings annually, Board induction and training, and maintaining the organisation's reputation.
