Provide onsite inspections of piping, insulation, firestopping, and startup of air conditioning and heating systems. Ensure compliance with approved design documents, approved shop drawings, and building codes. Communicate with the contractor and design team to resolve nonconformance items, and manage the inspection schedule to facilitate timely construction and completion of the scope of work. General skills required include excellent written and verbal skills, thorough knowledge of construction codes and project requirements, and in-depth knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and mobile devices. Required certifications include ICC Commercial Mechanical Inspector, ICC Commercial Energy Code Inspector, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. A PE licensed professional mechanical engineer certification is required for the Director position.
