Initial part-time freelance contract, with a minimum of 28 hours per month, approximately one day per week, distributed as needed. The role can be performed remotely, although the successful candidate must be able to meet in person occasionally. Responsibilities include creating and delivering marketing strategies, managing social media content, producing digital assets, overseeing marketing materials, analysing engagement and campaign performance, maintaining brand consistency, developing press relationships, creating press releases, identifying audiences and supporting relationships with arts organisations. Applicants should have degree-level education or equivalent experience in a professional arts environment, relevant marketing, press and publicity knowledge, experience developing marketing and communications strategies and managing press campaigns, strong knowledge of social media platforms, IT software and packages, excellent communication and copywriting skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. An enthusiasm for mental health and wellbeing support, a non-judgmental attitude to mental health issues, and a positive, friendly and personable manner are also required. The salary is £20 per hour, equivalent to approximately £36,000 per annum pro rata.
