Heritage Toronto is seeking a builder to increase its revenue-generating capacity by maintaining and actively building relationships with donors, sponsors and foundations. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role works directly with the Board of Directors, builds an annual giving program, secures corporate donations, sponsorships and foundation grants, develops solicitation proposals with marketing and program teams, stewards supporters through timely communications, and manages the E-Tapestry fundraising database. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of progressive fund development experience, demonstrated success with individual gifts and sponsor partnerships, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with software and online applications. This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week permanent position in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of two days per week at Historic St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto. Standard business hours apply, with occasional evenings and weekends. The compensation package includes $75,000 to $85,000 per year, a matching pension plan, three weeks of paid vacation, and health, dental and life insurance benefits including a $4,500 annual health spending account.
