Schlanger Law Group LLP is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to handle individual and class action consumer protection matters from inception through resolution. Duties include drafting complaints, motions, briefs and other litigation documents, managing fact and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, appearing in court, developing legal strategy with firm leadership and co-counsel, supervising paralegals, mentoring fellows as opportunities arise, and researching consumer protection law. Requirements include 7+ years of hands-on civil litigation experience, substantial federal court experience, outstanding persuasive legal writing, effective courtroom advocacy, admission to the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction, independent caseload management, and U.S. residence. Experience with consumer protection litigation, class actions, arbitration, or plaintiff-side litigation is strongly preferred. The position is fully remote with significant autonomy, requires travel for occasional in-person court appearances, and offers medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and compensation of $125,000 to $180,000 plus outcome-based compensation.
