Responsible for the safety of all swimmers during recreational swim hours, classes, and special events. Duties include applying preventative lifeguarding techniques, educating patrons on and enforcing aquatic rules and policies, providing customer service, responding to emergencies, and attending scheduled staff trainings. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid is required.
