Join North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services in an 18 month parental leave position providing services to Ontario Disability Support Program clients. Duties include handling ODSP applications, appeals and medical reviews, with possible work in other areas of clinic law. The role includes advice, representation at the Social Benefits Tribunal, public legal education, community development and law reform. The position offers meaningful work within a collaborative team, serving low income clients across Brampton, Caledon and Dufferin County, with a mix of in-office and work from home arrangements. Applicants must be licensed paralegals in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, demonstrate a commitment to social justice and anti-racism, anti-oppression, client-centred and trauma-informed practice, and have strong legal, advocacy and communication skills. Community legal clinic experience, particularly with ODSP, is highly desirable. French and languages relevant to the communities served are assets. The position runs from September 28, 2026 to March 31, 2028, with an annual salary of $64,000 to $67,000 based on experience and a health and dental benefits package.
