The legal assistant program provides experience in every aspect of family law practice. Training includes substantive seminars presented by firm litigators, shadowing attorneys at meetings, depositions, and court appearances, and opportunities to work directly with Chicago family law attorneys on cases. Legal assistants also have access to in-house training programs developed for associate attorneys. Participants who complete the program gain a real-world view of family law practice and may have an advantage when considered for associate positions.
