Support students in Years 7 to 12 across all learning areas by working with the Learning Diversity Leader and subject teachers to maximise participation in the curriculum, encourage independence and social inclusion, and assist teachers in providing inclusive education. Duties include supporting classroom learning and activities, implementing planned learning activities under teacher guidance, assisting with learning technologies and organisation, scribing or clarifying in tests and examinations, maintaining student support records, attending to personal needs where appropriate, supervising students, assisting with special provisions and NCCD evidence collection, and supporting meetings, excursions and after-hours events. The role requires knowledge of student needs, contemporary software applications including Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office, strong communication, organisational, problem-solving and collaboration skills, commitment to the Catholic ethos and child safety, a Working With Children Check for Victoria, a National Police Record Check, Level 2 First Aid including asthma and anaphylaxis, and a Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or equivalent.
