Provide instrumental music tuition for individual students and group lessons on woodwind instruments, including flute, saxophone and clarinet. Conduct various ensembles as determined by the Arts and Engagement Leader, and assist with concerts, recitals and performances. Applicants should demonstrate a high level of skill on their instrument, the ability to teach secondary school aged students individually and in groups, a commitment to maximising student learning through high quality tuition, and the ability to use high impact teaching strategies. The role requires capacity to grow and develop the Instrumental Program, build sustained and trusting relationships with staff, students and parents or guardians, work collaboratively with other Instrumental Music Tutors, Classroom Music Teachers and the Arts faculty, and demonstrate commitment to the ethos of Catholic school education. A current Working With Children Check and current ABN for invoicing purposes are required.
