Work full-time primarily with children ages 2.5 to 5 years in a play-based, child-centered preschool. Responsibilities include interacting with children, preparing and implementing age-appropriate activities, assisting with field trip planning, communicating professionally with staff and parents, and collaborating on a comprehensive developmentally appropriate curriculum. Requirements include an A.A. or B.A. degree with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education preferred, 2 or more years of experience, at least 12 core Child Development units, a California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher, strong classroom management skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, dependability, flexibility, and LiveScan, CPR certification, and TB testing.
