Manage and oversee daily preschool and childcare operations at a play-based, child-centered preschool serving children ages 2.5 to 5 years. Responsibilities include planning and implementing developmentally age-appropriate curriculum, establishing policies and educational goals, directing teachers and staff, conducting interviews and meetings, evaluating curriculum, identifying purchasing needs, promoting the preschool, and ensuring timely tuition and fee collections. Requirements include a B.A. in Child Development or higher, 24 ECE/CD units with core courses, 6 units of Supervision/Administration in Child Development, 2 units of Adult Supervision, 5 or more years of experience as an educational director, and LiveScan, CPR certification, and TB testing.
