Responsible for greeting patients, explaining specimen collection procedures, performing phlebotomies, Holter and blood pressure monitoring and ECG tracings, completing special test collections and documentation, maintaining client relationships, entering patient and requisition information, and preparing specimens for transportation and testing. Requires completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related healthcare experience, ECG training or experience is an asset, proficient data entry, strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, teamwork, confidentiality and the ability to reach assigned PSCs during operating hours. Requires availability for varied shifts, locations and schedules.
