Responsible for specimen collection from greeting patients through preparation of specimens for transportation. Duties include performing phlebotomies, connecting and disconnecting holter monitors, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, ECG tracings, special test collections, client relationship management, patient data entry, and specimen preparation. A recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related experience is required, with ECG experience an asset. The role requires flexible shifts, travel to multiple Patient Service Centres, data entry, communication, customer service, independent and team work, and strict patient confidentiality.
