Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to an Article III Federal Chief Judge, including preparing and editing legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, reports, and meeting materials; managing schedules, conferences, meetings, events, and special court activities; handling inquiries and sensitive correspondence; maintaining records and case management information; overseeing judicial paneling and en banc cases; monitoring chambers operations; processing judge intercircuit assignments; vetting law clerk applicants; supporting chambers staff; and completing special projects. The role requires strong organizational, multitasking, written and verbal communication, proofreading, editing, confidentiality, and Office 365 skills. A bachelor's degree is required for the Judicial Assistant role, while a bachelor's degree or accredited paralegal certificate is required for the Paralegal role. Experience in a legal or judicial setting is preferred, along with experience supporting senior executives, coordinating with judicial officers or senior leadership, or using the federal judiciary's CM/ECF system.
