Develop and support a Tier-1 buyside firm's end-to-end platform in Hong Kong, partnering with portfolio managers, traders and engineering teams across APAC. Responsibilities include representing APAC priorities in the global roadmap, developing production-quality software across frontend, backend and data layers, owning significant workstreams, and contributing to senior-level forums and regional hiring. Requirements include 4+ years of engineering experience, strong object-oriented backend language skills such as Java, production systems ownership, stakeholder management, self-direction and accountability. Previous regional leadership, hedge fund or asset management experience, AI tooling and Cantonese or Mandarin are preferred but not required.
