Improv Theatre Sydney is seeking an organised and proactive Producer to lead the production side of the 2026 ITS Comedy Festival, running from 8 to 15 November 2026. The role involves managing production timelines and run sheets, coordinating venues, overseeing load-in, load-out and venue setup, liaising with artists about production and technical needs, managing the festival budget, coordinating marketing and branding, planning merchandise, supporting sponsorships and competitions, rostering and managing front of house, stage management and technical teams, overseeing festival spaces, and contributing to post-festival communications and debriefs. The Producer reports to the General Manager and works closely with the Festival Director. Applicants should have strong organisational and project management skills, experience producing events or managing production logistics, confidence working across budgets, marketing coordination and team rostering, and be comfortable communicating with artists, venues and the ITS team. The role offers a base fee of $2,400 plus 4% of total festival profits excluding bar revenue. It begins with ad hoc planning hours and becomes more intensive during the final 6 to 8 weeks before the festival.
