Improv Theatre Sydney is seeking a General Manager to manage the operational backbone of the theatre and support its educational programs, performances and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include finance operations, people management, school management, compliance, policies, grants, corporate and schools offerings, producer support, front of house and technical staff rostering, and other tasks as necessary. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, experience managing people and processes, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in business operations, management or administration. Tertiary education in management, business administration or equivalent experience is required. Experience in arts or education organisations is preferred. This is a part-time role of 3 days or 24 hours per week, with flexible hours and occasional evenings or weekends. The position is primarily work from home, with semi-regular onsite attendance in Sydney required. Salary is $79,040 pro rata plus super, with staff benefits including free show tickets and one free class per term.
