Officiate intramural sports while developing communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Applicants attend a general officials meeting and sport-specific training sessions, where rule knowledge and comfort on the field are evaluated. Staff size is limited, and selection depends on staffing needs, availability, experience, and performance. Schedules are made weekly based on availability. New officials generally receive 1 to 2 shifts per week, while experienced officials may receive more. Officials may also participate in the sports they officiate.
