Perform patient assessments, develop individual treatment plans, liaise with teachers, family members and other healthcare professionals, administer therapy, monitor progress and educate patients and their families about treatments and therapy techniques. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, screening and preventing language, speech and swallowing disorders, using established and innovative communication techniques, maintaining patient records, mentoring speech therapy students and updating therapy programmes as required. Applicants need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-language Pathology, relevant SPA licensing and certification, knowledge of speech-related disorders and treatments, database management familiarity, strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel and conduct research.
