Duties include managing the team, conducting physical and psychological assessments, developing treatment plans and physical rehabilitation programmes, assessing work and home environments, advising on adaptive equipment, preparing clients to return to work, educating caregivers and family members, evaluating treatment progress, maintaining professional knowledge, complying with certification requirements and evaluating patients' physical and basic mental health. Applicants need a bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an Australian university, AHPRA registration, compliance with state healthcare regulatory requirements, up-to-date treatment knowledge, strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to care for clients with different personalities, computer skills and the ability to assess patient conditions and follow treatment plans.
