Arrange funerals when required, answer the phone and welcome clients, and manage the branch efficiently by keeping it clean, well stocked and welcoming. Receive, record and store flowers for funerals, and receive and record clothing and property of the deceased. Follow all company guidelines, processes and practices. Familiarity with company management information systems, such as Funeral Manager, or willingness to learn is required, with training provided where necessary. The role requires good general IT skills, a full and clean driving licence, a thorough understanding of requirements for funerals and repatriations, sensitivity with confidential information, respect for clients, colleagues and suppliers, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, good literacy, a professional, calm and empathetic telephone manner, good communication skills, excellent timekeeping and diary management, and familiarity with company ethos, procedures and policies.
