Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to oversee food and bar service operations, ensuring quality control, efficiency, and an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining food and bar service stations, supervising and coaching team members, planning training and culture initiatives, coordinating sponsorships with local partners, auditing timekeeping, organizing shift schedules, conducting pre-shift and post-shift meetings and checklists, overseeing food preparation and daily food and beverage operations, managing ordering, handling guest complaints, monitoring sales and productivity, managing inventory, supporting product development, and executing seasonal and special event offerings. Requirements include 2 or more years of operational management, food preparation, or bar management experience, food and beverage management experience, SFA Food Handler certification, experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, and proficiency with POS, inventory, and ordering systems. Preferred qualifications include 2 or more years in lead or supervisory roles, experience with frozen and soft serve equipment, cotton candy machines and other specialty equipment, project management experience, and a hospitality background.
