Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a compassionate and experienced female Registered Paediatric Nurse to join its Complex Care team in Dalston, London. The role supports a 5 year old male client in his family home, providing personal care, medication administration, clinical interventions, play and social interaction. Duties include maintaining personalised care plans and risk assessments, delivering and overseeing complex clinical interventions, monitoring care outcomes, escalating concerns, building relationships with children, families and healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records, and participating in quality assurance, clinical governance and safeguarding processes. Interventions include tracheostomy care and suction, tracheostomy tube changes, ventilation via tracheostomy, humidification, deep suctioning, mechanical cough assist, awareness of PICC lines, administration of subcutaneous medication, gastrostomy care, epilepsy care, experience with ketones, and awareness of adrenal crisis management. Applicants must be a Registered Children's Nurse, hold a valid PIN and current NMC registration, have experience caring for children with complex healthcare needs, strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, excellent communication skills, a family-centred care approach, and knowledge of safeguarding children and young people. Shifts are days from 8am to 8pm and nights from 7:45pm to 8am. The pay rate is £28.37 to £34.67 per hour, including holiday pay.
