The Executive Director is the orchestra's chief administrative officer, responsible for managing human and financial resources, overseeing operations, recommending policies to the Board of Directors, and implementing Board policies. The role collaborates with the Artistic Director and Board President on operational, artistic, and financial goals, oversees direct reports, supports organizational development, and attends Wednesday rehearsals, performances, and operational, artistic, and Board meetings. Requirements include previous arts administration experience, strong organization, planning and time management skills, written and verbal communication skills, budgetary and financial management skills, adaptability to new technology, and the ability to inspire and improve the organization. Compensation is $5,000 per year for a part-time contract position, without benefits, health insurance, travel reimbursement, or relocation fees.
