Plan, manage, and execute more than 100 private and public events annually across the San Francisco Botanical Garden, Conservatory of Flowers, and Japanese Tea Garden. Serve as the primary liaison for clients, vendors, internal departments, and event partners while managing event planning, production development, logistics coordination, vendor management, on-site execution, and venue opening and closing procedures. Responsibilities include developing timelines, site layouts, staffing plans, and logistical details; leading setup and breakdown; managing vendors and guests; supporting public programs, festivals, fundraisers, and seasonal experiences; conducting post-event inspections; and completing event follow-up. Requires 2 to 3 years of full-time experience planning and executing weddings, corporate events, or special events, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, a valid California driver's license, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and in varied indoor and outdoor conditions. A bachelor's degree and experience with Tripleseat, PatronManager, Google Workspace, and Asana are preferred. This is a physically active, public-facing role supporting signature events including Flower Piano and Lightscape across three gardens.
