Seylone is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to perform excavation and grading operations and transport equipment, materials, and tools between project sites. Responsibilities include operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, trenchers, and other heavy equipment, transporting and securing equipment with company trucks and trailers, reading site and grading plans, setting grades and benchmarks, laying out work areas, managing small sitework projects, performing excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, manual digging, safety and maintenance checks, and communicating with stakeholders. Candidates need at least five years of heavy equipment experience, equipment transport and trailer towing experience, plan reading, grading and layout skills, project ownership, trench safety knowledge, and strong communication. CDL Class A or B, 40 Hour HAZWOPER, and OSHA 10 or 30 are required. Flagger, Confined Space, and First Aid are preferred.
