The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for a full-time Environmental Protection Specialist position with the U.S. EPA Senior Environmental Employment Program, supporting the Indiana Department of Environmental Management Office of Water Quality, Waterways and Stormwater Section. Duties include entering industrial and construction applications and reports into Tempo and nVIRO, performing quality assurance on program data, following up with customers, filing reports and permits, tracking compliance data, reviewing industrial sampling reports and data, and performing other assigned duties. Qualifications include being at least 55 years old, a US citizen, eligible to work in the US, and having at least 5 years of experience in environmental sciences, finance, or public administration, or a BA or BS in science or environmental sciences preferred. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access experience is required.
