Luria Academy of Brooklyn is seeking a passionate and collaborative teacher for its Elementary School Hebrew Language team for the 2024-2025 school year. Duties include planning and preparing materials, providing differentiated classroom instruction, assessing students and providing feedback, communicating with parents and families, collaborating with teachers and faculty, participating in curriculum development, designing and delivering curriculum according to ACTFL standards, managing classroom routines and behaviors, and applying effective pedagogy and best practices. Candidates should be fluent Hebrew speakers with strong pedagogical skills and Hebrew immersion experience, a growth mindset, emotional intelligence, self-motivation, curiosity, openness to new ideas, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with teachers from different disciplines. A master's degree, specialization and training in second language acquisition, special education training, and experience in a progressive environment are preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience is required. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have the right to work in the U.S. Salary range: $55,000-$70,000.
