This contracted part-time role supports youth in grades 8 through 12 through direct service and program logistics. Responsibilities include supporting mentoring workshops, implementing tutoring, matching youth with volunteers, building relationships, collecting and analyzing academic data, maintaining college and career resources, creating care packages, contributing to newsletters, translating materials, maintaining attendance records, and supporting recruitment and events. Candidates should have at least one year of professional experience in a youth development program for urban youth, knowledge of creative or positive youth development, strong communication and collaboration skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to engage youth. Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency, knowledge of Afro-Latin culture, spreadsheet skills, and data analysis skills are highly desirable. The position is up to 10 hours per week from September 7, 2026 through June 17, 2027, primarily on-site, with a required Monday and Thursday schedule and up to 3.5 additional hours weekly. Candidates must pass CORI and SORI background checks and be authorized to work legally in the United States. Pay is $18 to $22 per hour, with paid sick time, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance.
