The Duty Technician supports the Running Team during show calls, including covering Sound Operator, Show Caller and ASM roles during breaks. Responsibilities also include on-the-fly fixes, technical support for LX, sound and stage departments, weekly planned preventative maintenance, weekly meetings, and support during marketing shoots and rehearsals. Applicants should have sound and lighting experience in maintenance and live operation, including Yamaha and ETC desks, excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to work calmly under pressure, strong people skills, excellent time-keeping, and the ability to carry out manual handling tasks. Stage management, show calling and attention to detail are advantageous. At least three years' experience in technical or stage management roles in theatre or live events is required, ideally in theatre or immersive productions. The role is for Chat Noir! at The Lost Estate West Kensington, with a maximum of eight shows per week from Tuesday to Sunday, including weekend matinees. Dates are ASAP to 27 September 2026.
