Herzog & de Meuron is seeking a Documentation Manager for its Communications Department, starting immediately or by agreement. The role supports architects with project documentation and archiving, ensures the long-term preservation of documents, objects and digital content, and accompanies projects from design through construction to completion. Responsibilities include coordinating the collection of plans, images and reports, compiling content for different project phases with project leads and partners, planning documentation activities, cataloguing selected content, maintaining information platforms, ensuring the quality of archived documents through manuals, and serving as a contact for image material for internal and external use. The role requires a strong interest in and understanding of architecture, training as an art historian or documentation or archive specialist, several years of professional experience, and a strong interest in digital platforms such as InDesign, Fotoware Alto and MuseumPlus. Candidates should be team-oriented, communicative and organised, able to assert themselves, independent, reliable and precise under time pressure. Very good German and English skills are mandatory, as is proficiency with standard Office programmes. Experience with layout, image editing and CAD programmes is an advantage.
