Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role will establish a robust development function, communicate the mission of UJCES, develop a fundraising strategy, expand and diversify the donor base, and increase restricted and unrestricted funds. The role works closely with the Board of Directors and supports Board members in taking on more active fundraising roles. Responsibilities include developing major gift solicitation strategies, managing donor recognition and stewardship, prospecting foundation grants, writing proposals, building funder relationships, submitting grant reports and renewal proposals, coordinating grassroots fundraisers, and overseeing individual donor campaigns. Qualifications include a deep belief in the mission and vision of UJCES, leadership skills, fundraising expertise, and excellent communication skills.
