UJCES is seeking a dynamic professional to serve as a Social Worker for its senior center. The role provides case assistance and case management to seniors, home visits for lunch program eligibility and reassessments, benefits and entitlement assistance, information and referrals, client advocacy, Medicaid pre-screening, service registration, and monthly statistical reporting. A minimum BA or BSW is required, with supervised casework experience with seniors preferred. Knowledge of benefits, entitlements, and local and citywide resources for older people, application assistance, assessment, case note writing, referrals, and empathetic client service are required. The Social Worker reports to the Director of the Senior Center. Salary is $50,000 per year plus fringes.
