Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of care and education in line with the EYFS statutory framework and Ofsted requirements. Responsibilities include staff leadership, acting as Nursery Manager in their absence, compliance, safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, parent communication, health and safety, curriculum oversight, staff development, financial and administrative duties and continuous improvement. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education is required, preferably Level 5 or higher. At least 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in an early years setting, knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted standards, and Paediatric First Aid and DSL training or willingness to complete them are required. The role requires an enhanced DBS check and commitment to safeguarding.
