Join the investment team at an early-stage venture capital firm investing in emerging technology startups. The role involves researching markets, industries, companies, technologies and investment themes, presenting findings to senior investment team members, screening investment opportunities, qualifying inbound leads, supporting investment diligence, capturing pitch notes, conducting market research, reviewing products, performing competitive analysis and customer or user reviews, and analyzing financial, customer, user and engagement metrics. Qualifications include strong academic performance in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, with a master's degree in economics or a STEM subject preferred. The role requires 0 to 3 years of post-university experience, working knowledge of blockchain technologies, advanced MS Excel skills, strong research, analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial interest, curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, empathy for founders, collaboration skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
